Honestly this is such a bad review of zaheer such a complex and nuanced character with the ideology and pure charisma to make you root for the villain was surmised to just any other action character in a video that showed clips out of order and confuses the viewer. All the most thought provoking and philosophical moments were downplayed through explanation that benefited the flow of this specific video rather than the story of who zaheer was and what his motivations were. I watched this whole video and other than the moments where the narration was no longer playing and I was able to remember what i felt the first time i watched the show did I enjoy this video. And i know that this was a video based solely on his journey in air bending but at least do justice to the story and the character ya know?

Hmm... there is just one inconsistency with zaheer's story. He finally achieved mastery of air and was able to fly because he "let go of earthly desires", assuming after his beloved died and he had nothing else holding him back. But that doesn't make sense. He still desired to fulfil his plan, he still desired revenge. Those are some pretty heavy tethers. I feel like for him to achieve what he trained so hard for he would have had to give up on the other thing he wanted most, to fulfil his anarchic dream.

While Zaheer was fighting tenzin he would never truly be a master. When he was leaping into the air he would always jump stright at many objects while trying to reach his destination while Tenzin could do it in one jump. The reason is because of Tenzin's skill and knowledge of Air bending which requires circular motion to make the most of it. Everytime he jumped he always twisted his body along with the air giving him much more air time and height then Zaheer and allowed him to get to places with a lot less effort. Zaheer who was great with his agility couldn't stand up to Tenzins mastery of the element was like him flowing like the wind itself rather than just a small leaf against a breeze

Actually aang in avatar state could fly. Happened when he found out that air nomads were all dead. Since all skills of avatar came from past avatars, that means at least one of them knew how to fly. What if Zaheer is decedent of airbenders who escaped Sozin's attack almost 200 hundred years ago? Why couldn't he airbend before? You shouldve fill the airbending skill indicator because Flight is the most advance airbending technique and Zaheer is clearly advanced and mastered the Air bending even spirit connection he even can talk while in the spirit realm while his body and mouth can talk. PS Iroh to me is one of the most interesting character in the whole series especially learning he never truly was as evil as Ozai. Even as the dragon of the west he did not actually have the last dragons extinct etc.

When I first watched Korra I was annoyed by the fact that he was so skilled right away until I understood that he was very well read about air bending culture and techniques so it kinda makes sense he learned so quickly. Also it is speculated whether or not air bending can be seen but here 3:20 they can clearly see it. On many occasions it appears people are unable to see the air, which kinda makes sense and adds to the OP of air bending.
